Shift key not working?
I have ran into this problem a few times now so thought I would write it up... If you have AutoCAD or a vertical installed along with Raster Design, and your Shift key stops working for things like "Shift+Pick" to remove objects from selection sets, or "Shift+Pick" to make mutiple grips hot, then this might be the solution. Run the command IOPTIONS Go to the User Preferences tab Uncheck the toggle Shift+Left Click Image Select

If you are running into the same problem with Civil 3D 2010, try typing MAPIOPTIONS. This will bring up the raster extension options window. From the General Tab you can deselect the Shift + Left Click Image option.
Thank you so much for this

Object Selection Multiple Grips Not Working
on Thu, 11/25/2010 - 12:37 Permalink
This is Like a Lifesaver to me.
The Grips worked perfectly in ACad, But Not in Raster Design.
I spent a whole day trying different options to resolve this issue.
Thank You for the Tip !!!
