Yes, I've been 5 times in the past. The money is being placed in the budget, hopefully it will be approved.

Same here, I've been the last 5 years, but I won't be there this year.

5 times before for me, too.
This year is in the budget and run clear through the regional VP. Not really sure how I made it - total conferences budget is 10K, I scored 4 plus out of that to go to AU.
The boss says they feel that my involvement in my trade (AUGI, beta/UI testing, etc.) and my relationships among the deskers, vendors, and AUGI pals does the company some good.
Everybody that used "schmoozing clients" as a justification got shot down.
Not the right question though...
How many that said "No" have never been? I know I was one...
