If you are planning on attending Autodesk University 2015, well….. you better get registered soon. The hotel fills up fast as do the AU classes. Our CAD Panacea authors are involved with at least 4 classes at this writing.
R.K. McSwain is the primary speaker for IT9952 – Deployments and Autolisp: Strategies for Easy Installations and Maintenance. This class will offer and describe suggestions for easily installing and maintaining AutoCAD and AutoCAD verticals in virtually any size office environment. R.K. will be assisting in Robert Green‘s lab class titled Autolisp Strategies for CAD Managers (IT11467-L). that covers using Autolisp to control menus, tool palettes, profiles, etc. R.K. was also chosen for a panel of CAD managers in Rick Ellis‘ panel class titled Drawing from Experience: Tell All of 4 CAD Manager with Over 100 Years of Experience (IT10908). Topics in this panel are expected to include understanding CAD standards, keeping up with rapidly changing technology, managing users, communicating with management and other non-technical people, budgeting, etc. Other panelists include Curt Moreno, Kate Morrical, and Robert Green.
Lastly, CAD Panacea contributing author Kimberly Fuhrman is the primary speaker for AS9556 – From Small Firm to Big Building Information Modeling (BIM), a class where you will discover the BIM process as it applies to small to mid-size AEC firms, and learn how to evaluate software needs and integration/implementation. Kimberly has quietly and quickly brought a Revit/BIM following to CAD Panacea and we appreciate all of her contributions.
